Let the journey be shaped by the curiousity of the child…

Unschooling Everywhere

Unschooling happens on the go. You don’t have to do anything for it at all except trusting your child to be interested in the world around him. And that that curiosity will lead to learning. I think that word “trust” is the keyword. Trust in your child, trust in yourself and trust that the world we life in is an interesting place with lots of opportunities for learning.

Maths

Today, we went out for breakfast and on the table Maximan found a bowl filled with milk cups. He started building right away. It was mathematics in disguise.

Spanish

A language which is spoken a lot here is Spanish. Maxi- and Midiman are practicing their English, but that is not enough. Sometimes Maximan approaches another child and asks him to play with him, just to find out that that child only speaks Spanish. Another need for learning is born. As we speak, Maximan is watching a Spanish animation show on YouTube. One of his favorites is Caillou. Suggestions are welcome!
