Let the journey be shaped by the curiousity of the child…
Still wrapped up in the festivity of December. We are still busy with reindeer and one of the intriguing question that remains is how reindeer seem to be able to fly. I don’t know about you, but I can’t answer that without ruining Maximan his joy and believe that they can fly. And who knows, maybe they can fly and am I the one who isn’t able to see it. Remember the movie: The Polar Expres? Who knows. Anyway, I didn’t feel like spoiling his fun. I tell him the stories and I’m not saying that it is the truth. We talk about dinosaurs too. They lived a long time ago.
To continue with his current interest: Reindeers. We came up with the idea to make some reindeer. I have been collecting toilet roll papers for weeks now. Even up to the frustration of dear husband. But today it paid of. When I suggested to use toilet roll paper to make reindeer I saw the puzzled look on Maximan his face. I must admit, this was a photographic moment. You could see him think: “Yeah… right”
According to Maximan we needed to make six reindeer, that is how many Santa has. And during our holiday we already made a reindeer. That would be the mommy reindeer. So the plan unravelled: We would make six reindeer children.
This is the plan: I will cut the reindeer from the toilet rolls and he will paint either the reindeer or the toilet rolls
